Esta exposición presenta el primer episodio del proyecto I+D+VS, dedicado al estudio de la vivienda social contemporánea. Su contenido corresponde a un viaje imaginario a través de 8 edificios que investigan el futuro de la vivienda social desde distintos puntos de vista. El itinerario recorre 7 ciudades del mundo, con Madrid como punto de partida y destino final. I+D+VS trata de explorar hasta qué punto la vivienda social puede convertirse en un campo en el que introducir innovaciones y buenas prácticas a distintos niveles: desde la escala urbana, los tipos de agrupación y de vivienda, hasta los materiales y los sistemas constructivos.

 

La investigación parte de un análisis sistemático de los ejemplos seleccionados: diversidad, densidad y economía son las palabras clave empleadas para ese análisis. Apoyándose en la comparación de sus resultados, la exposición aporta una serie de líneas y puntos con los que dibujar el futuro (o futuros) de la vivienda social.

 

Organizada por el grupo de investigación NuTAC en colaboración con la Dirección General de Arquitectura y Política de Vivienda del Ministerio de Fomento, tiene por objeto la difusión del trabajo investigador realizado en el proyecto HAR2008-00521 Nuevas Técnicas y Vivienda Social financiado por el Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación en el marco del VI Plan Nacional de Investigación Científica, Desarrollo e Innovación Tecnológica 2008-2011, concretamente en la convocatoria del Programa Nacional de Proyectos de Investigación Fundamental no orientada.

This exhibition was the first phase of the I+D+VS project, dedicated to the study of contemporary social housing. Its content corresponds to an imaginary journey through eight buildings that explore the future of social housing from different points of view. The itinerary covers seven cities in the world, with Madrid as the starting point and final destination. I+D+VS explored to what extent social housing can become a field in which innovations and good practice can be introduced at different levels: on an urban scale, through the types of grouping and housing, to the materials and constructive systems.

 

The research started from a systematic analysis of the selected examples: diversity, density and economy were the keywords used for this analysis. Based on the comparison of its results, the exhibition provided a series of lines and points with which to draw the future (or futures) of social housing.

 

Organized by the research group, NuTAC, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Architecture and Housing Policy of the Ministry of Development, it aimed to disseminate the research carried out in the project HAR2008-00521 Nuevas Técnicas y Vivienda Social, financed by the Ministry of Science and Innovation within the framework of the VI National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2008-2011, specifically in the call for National Programme of non-targeted Fundamental Research Projects.
